SACRED SPACE
Long ago, people lived at one with nature, and the entire earth was considered sacred.
This is still true for shamans, the stewards and protectors of the paradise that is earth, and the life it provides. At one point, all of earth was a sacred place, where beings could take part in amazing transformation and healing.
Now, man uses the earth as he sees fit, with no respect for what he takes, or has left behind. In order for great healing to occur, we must be within a sacred space.
We can create these spaces ourselves, by calling in the great primordial energies of the four directions, the earth, and the heavens. The way indigenous people still do, all around the world.
We also create a more personal sacred space. One that is pure, still and outside the constraints of time.
We call this the Wira-cocha, which means source of the sacred.
This eighth chakra resides within the Luminous Energy Field of a person, hovering above the head like a radiant sun.
It is our connection with the Great Spirit, the place where God dwells within us.
As we learn to envelop our entire body in it, we are able to create a personal sacred space – pure, still, and outside the constraints of time.
It is a place where great healing and great learning can occur.
In the intimacy of its light, we can shed the traumas of the past, live in the present and dream our destiny.
