Distant Healing with Shamanism

How Remote Healing Works Over Zoom & Skype

Distant Healing with Shamanism

How Remote Healing Works Over Zoom & Skype With many people being forced to stay home, a lot of “life” went online.
From work to fitness to social life, much of the world now relies on online platforms to stay connected.

It’s no surprise that there’s been a rise in virtual well-being services, as well.
While energy healing typically takes place in a physical space, many practitioners are offering services online.

This is known as remote healing, distance healing, or distant healing.

The energy body (we call Luminous Energy Field) can be accessed easily from anywhere and at any time and does not require you to be physically present with the practitioner. The majority of the distance healings that I do are zoom sessions.
For most of the sessions it requires an amount of participation, so having them on zoom is necessary to accomplish the work.

It can be called ‘therapy for lazy people.’ No work required, just relax and allow me to guide you. You just need to be ready to face yourself and evolve. Distance Healing allows the recipient to benefit from the healing process even if they are unable to be present due to distance or illness.
I run my sessions in the same way, except it is over video.
Typically, you’ll lie down at home and set up a video camera on your phone or laptop, so I healer can see and hear you and vice versa.

The processes involved may vary slightly depending on what is being presented, but the essential transmission of healing energy is universal.

Energy can neither be created nor be destroyed, it can only be transformed from one form to another. We are all electrical and magnetic beings made of energy and emitting light. Distant healing encompasses a broad range of healing practices, many of which are based in ancient spiritual traditions.

Virtually all major religions, including Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Hinduism, endorse and encourage the use of distant healing among their adherents.

For those people who are able to intuitively work with energy, or to learn the processes involved, healing is a matter of transferring and balancing that energy.
Working not the physical form, but with pure energy means that the healer can operate outside of the normal limitations of time and space.

In David R. Hamilton Ph.D.’s book, “Why Woo-Woo Works”, The Surprising Science Behind Meditation, Reiki, Crystals, and Other Alternative Practices, he discusses this very thing.

How healers use a variety of different methods including vibrational and sound healing over long distances around the world to help bring about amazing results. Quantum Physics is only now catching up with what Shaman’s and Healers from all cultures have known for thousands of years.
Even Einstein referred to it as `spooky action at a distance´, in a challenge to the accepted interpretation of quantum mechanics. The way subatomic particles can remain connected (entangled) no matter how far apart they are.

Which has now been experimentally proven correct.

There are many ways one might understand how distance healing works.

Much of our everyday experience involves the transfer of energy over long distances — satellite dishes are just one example. There are energies all about us traveling great distances in short amounts of time such as radio waves.
Distant energy healing, also known as remote healing and absent healing has been practiced by healers in the Far East for centuries. In recent modern times many modalities of distant healing are being recognized and practiced in the West.

Shamanic energy healers know that energy can be transported through space and time, which means that energy healing can take place even over a large geographical distance.

It is all about intention.

If your mindset is to overcome all your obstacles and challengers, and with the work performed by a trained Shamanic Energy Medicine Practitioner, you will reach your desired results.

If you just want to tick it off the list of tried therapies that don’t work for you, then that will be your outcome.

You need to get off your ass, commit yourself, and do the necessary work to achieve your goals and dreams.
I am all for personal accountability.

In my experience there is absolutely NO difference between an in person session or a distance healing.

This has been proven to me time and time again and I am still amazed and grateful each and every time.

When I work on a client long distance I can feel where their pain/problems lie.

During and after distance healing (and in person sessions) I feel love, calmness, gratitude and a connection to the Universe and the person I am working with.

This type of healing is equally effective as an in person healing because in shamanic energy healing and holistic medicine therapies, we are working with the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual aspects of an individual by accessing the individual’s energy body.

The energy body can be accessed easily from anywhere and at any time and does not require you to be physically present with the practitioner.

When a healer facilitates a distance healing, he or she is going outside of time and space.
What quantum physics has revealed (at least in theory) is that time is not fixed, nor is it linear, only flowing in one direction.

Time is fluid and flows both forwards and backwards simultaneously.
Your future can thus affect you as much as your past. Your past can be altered as much as your future.

From this perspective everything is happening at once, there is no past and no future, only the present moment.

Does Distance Healing Work?

The answer to this question is YES!

Distance healing works equally as well as an in person healing session.

In my practice I use Distance Healing for most of my sessions.

I get extremely accurate information with the same positive results as I do when you come for a personal session.

The difference between treating symptoms and healing is that in treating symptoms the context remains the same.

However in healing, the clinical response is elicited by a change of context, so as to bring about an absolute removal of the cause of the condition rather than mere recovery from its symptoms.

The “field” as Einstein once put it, is the only reality. It is this field that must be tapped in order to heal.

Anyone who understands what Quantum Science is, will know the implications of Quantum Theory.

If consciousness and energy – not matter – are the fundamental underlying principles of the universe then all of our assumptions must change.

We now live in a universe where science and spirituality are one and the same.
True healing requires the deepest understanding and appreciation of the oneness of body mind and spirit.

Quantum physics provides this understanding.

Huge industries have been built around a chemical and mechanical approach to health and healing.

We live in a time of a sickness care society, not a health care society.

A patient healed is a customer lost, as they say! Changing all of the paradigms regarding health and healing is very threatening to these large financial empires.

This is why things are so slow to change.
Individuals must be very proactive in educating themselves and make changes as individuals one person at a time.

This shamanic energy healing transcends time and space and the zoom or skype call has nothing to do with the efficacy of the healing.

Distance healing does work and I hope I have made how and why it does work a little more understandable.

A distant healing session like an in-person session usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes.

This includes post-therapy tips and homework.

Results may vary from person to person depending upon their readiness and receptivity.

Changes are often visible right from the first session.

Even when issues are resolved in a single session, three to four sessions are advisable.

It can take from a few days to a few months for the full integration to take place.

So, the number of sessions varies from person to person and case to case.

We all have certain things in our lives that we would like to address for a wholesome, healthy, abundant and fulfilling life.

Hence, the best time to book a session is NOW!

Remember: A shamanic energy healing session is not required only to address pain, damage or issues.

It is chosen even when things are good, to take you to the next level.

Jamie

SELF-TRANSFORMATION

The transformation of one’s self means to acknowledge and then change yourself from within and with-out.

SELF-TRANSFORMATION

The transformation of one’s self means to acknowledge and then change yourself from within and with-out.

For me and the ones I work with this means mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually and energetically.

It happens when either you are in or pass through a difficult situation in your life, or you initiate it yourself to bring about a meaningful beginning and life changing journey.

In most cases, you regenerate your soul towards bringing this change in yourself.

Transforming and regeneration of your soul is not easy.

It takes a lot more courage and guts to face.

Sometimes you must face it by yourself.

While Self is the one who asks the questions, and partly Self is the one who can give you some of those answers, it can be one of the toughest and most important explorations in your life.

It is coming within.

Discovering who you really are.

Therefore, self-transformation is not an option, it is fundamental to our existence and transition to Homo-Luminous beings.

To Dream A New World Into Being.

Self-transformation implies we seek to reshape ourselves, to shift into a new person entirely.

This takes us way beyond self-awareness.

In the transformation process, we actively and consciously refine ourselves.
We mold ourselves through hard work and discipline so we can achieve a result that reflects our strongest beliefs and values.

It starts with a tiny spec of realization.

Realizing that things are not right within us and our environment.

Your unwanted personality trait is not your friend.

The uncomfortable people you have around you are not your friends.

The polluted environment around you is not conducive to being your friend.

Going after the things you want, learning new skills, and chasing your desires is hard, which is why most people don’t bother.

But with the right attitude and guidance, you can put yourself on a path to becoming who you truly want to be.

You can get off your ass and transform your life into anything you want.

Shamanic Energy Work is one of the most powerful ways for Self-Transformation.

We do this in several ways.
For more information contact me via my website www.jamievida.com

.

As will as this we need to start with some basic habits.

Breathe and Slow Down
While self-transformation is essential, sometimes we may pressurize ourselves a little too much in this process.
This can be the last thing that will help you adopt positive changes.

The most basic and essential part of self-transformation is to learn how to slow down. (This is part of the Momentum Tunnel we will discuss later).

Take deep breathes, stop when you feel like it’s too much for you to handle, and adopt one step at a time.

Nothing is going to be easy for you if you aren’t easy on yourself.
Meditation is absolutely essential for this transition.

In fact, you can start your own meditation practice right now.

Simply start by taking one deep breath in and then out.

Focus on nothing but your breath.

As you focus on the breath, and if your mind wanders, then you gently bring it back.

Over time, these reps strengthen your mind. It might seem strange that breathing can change your life, but when you stick with it, you’ll understand.

Meditation and mindfulness have been the root of all change for me, and it can be for you too.

Start Reading

Reading can be a driving factor to make or break a person’s personality/character.

While it mostly helps build our character, choosing the wrong books can do the opposite too.

From books to magazines, and even the positive and influential social media posts – anything that helps you grow in the right direction is a good read. “What a person has on their bookcase will tell you everything about that person”.

Your thoughts are shaped by the inputs you give your mind.

Let’s say you’ve realized that you’ve done a poor job taking care of your health.

You want to become a healthier person.

You start by reading a few blogs, or listening to Podcasts on dieting, exercise, and the importance of sleep.

Consuming this information over time — being submersed in it — changes the structure of your brain.

It carves new neuropathways, reshaping the way you think, and planting seeds of new ideas into your mind.

Without doing anything more than reading, you start to value new things.

Staying with our health example, fast food doesn’t seem so appealing now that you know what it’s made from and how many empty calories it contains.
Choose the Right Community

The people we spend our time with are the most important in our lives.

They aren’t just our company but also the people that shape our character and personality.

If you are passionate about changing your body and becoming fit, spend time with people that take physical fitness seriously.

This will change your mindset completely.

If you need a consistent and visible change in your life, you need to change your community first.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” — Helen Keller

Your family, friends, and even strangers can be a huge advantage to you and in becoming the type of person you want to be.

Find the right crowd.

It is almost always easier going through things with other people.

This is why I started our Face Book Community – https://www.facebook.com/groups/exceptionalhealth

Join us as we make a difference. Moving To Bigger Changes
Apart from the small life changes, there are plenty of other steps/changes that can help you transform yourself into a new person and own that new personality.

One thing that can make you grow into a better person is giving importance to your happiness.

When you’re adopting ways to transform yourself, you need to make sure you choose the things that make you happy.

Prioritize Your Health

Nothing will be good if your health isn’t good. We all know how important our health is, and what huge role it plays in keeping us ready for life challenges.

To be a better person and transform into a new personality you need to learn to value your health.

Your health is one of the only things that will give you physical aid to keep going in life.

If you don’t make time for your health, you will have to make time for your illness!

Just Do It

Another one of the effective ways to transform yourself is to learn to start.

Reading all those books and listening to the podcasts with people telling you how you can change is certainly good. But it will not help you change.

Instead, getting up and putting your efforts into change will be the real life-changer.

Learn to Stay Fit

Understanding the importance of your health and learning how to stay fit are two different things.

Getting back in shape and achieving a fit body are at the top of the list.

You can only do this by adopting a healthy lifestyle – from healthy food, meditating, to working out and a healthy sleeping routine, everything is important.

Then you will see visible results in the process of learning to transform yourself into a new person.
Conclusion

One of the effective ways to transform yourself is to learn to start.

Getting up and putting your efforts into change will be the real life-changer for you.

Practice them, see how you become a new person with your own will and effort.

You’re about to become the positive and changed person you’ve always dreamt of being.

Keep on going!
Happy Transformation!

After reading this article, what kind of life are you living?

Are you on the path you want to be on?

If not, then let’s start.

Taking the first step is certainly better than the alternative.

It will move you closer to Self-Transformation.

How to Start Working Out

You know you should be exercising.

You know you should be exercising.
But how do you start and then keep up your dedication to the gym or a training routine when your schedule is overloaded with a million other things.
Or how do you push yourself to start working out if it’s been years since you last had a good self-imposed sweat?
If you want to make movement a regular part of your day and your life, you have many exercise options.
But you may be unsure about how to start working out if you’ve never really exercised regularly before.
Whether you’re looking to run, ride a bike, swim, lift weights, or do yoga, just thinking about how to start working out can feel intimidating.
Understanding the big picture of why physical activity is so very important for your physical and mental well-being is a good place to start.
That “runners high” is not just in their heads.
Exercising releases hormones called endorphins that promote feelings of euphoria and help you focus.
Working out also improves cardiovascular health and sleep quality, both of which improve your energy levels throughout the day and reduce the risk of a variety of diseases.
Moving your body more is also associated with a reduced risk of depression.
And exercise may help people who already have depression
Identify why you’re ready to incorporate a regular workout program into your life.
Fitness should be about your own goals and what feels right for you.
Everyone starts somewhere.
You can rest assured that the yoga teacher you follow on Instagram didn’t immediately pull off that handstand during her first class, or the CrossFitter didn’t bang out 10 pull-ups the first time they hung on the bar.
And those runners you see going for hours? At one point, jogging nonstop for five minutes was probably a victory for them.
Besides, your exercise routine is about you—it’s about your individual goals, your preferences, and your interests.
What works for the fitfluencer you follow may be way off from what you’re looking to implement in your own life.
Intentional, strategic habit changes, based on your personality, schedule, likes, and dislikes can make all the difference in whether or not you stick to your workout plans or get thrown off track.
Find a time that works for you.
There’s always been a lot of talk in the fitness world about when’s the best time to work out.

There is no set time that’s the best for working out.

The best time is always the one that fits your lifestyle, your preferences, and your energy level.” Find a workout you enjoy and look forward to it.
Just because all your friends love spinning or Cross Fit doesn’t mean you do, too.

Begin by really thinking about the things you enjoy — nature, group settings, playing sports, quiet time, or being challenged.

Then look for activities that meet one or more of your criteria.

Look at workouts that you’re good at.
Research shows that humans have a desire to be ‘good’ at something.
I encourage people to not only seek out things they find pleasurable and enjoyable, but also things that they’re confident doing or would like to become more proficient in.
Put it on your calendar as you would any other appointment
Once you have a workout (or even a few) that you want to try, give yourself a slow and steady break-in period.
Giving yourself a workout range for the week can also be helpful.
Give yourself a realistic range, like three to five days a week to start with.
Break up your workout into shorter spurts.
Are you skipping your workout because you don’t have time for the full routine?
Break up your physical activity into a few shorter 10-minute spurts throughout the day. Taking shorter walks throughout the day, as opposed to one longer walk that takes 30 minutes to an hour, will give you similar benefits.

Just make sure that you’re listening to your body.

If you’ve been going too hard, you may need a break, and that’s perfectly fine. Play some music to keep your energy up.
Playing some tunes could be just what you need to literally go the extra mile.
Research has found that playing music while exercising increases the duration of workouts for both men and women without a perceived increase in effort.

Starting a workout routine shouldn’t add to your stress—it should be a helpful self-care measure that makes you feel better instead.

And that is why you know you should be working out now!

7 Reasons Why You Should Be Using Coconut Oil

It is a common misconception that coconut oil is bad for you.

It is a common misconception that coconut oil is bad for you.

People all over the world are experiencing the healthy benefits of using coconut oil.

It is actually one of the healthiest oils you can consume.

Here are the top seven reasons why you should use coconut oil as an alternative to other common cooking oils.

1. Coconut oil doesn’t turn to fat in your body.

Unlike many other common oils, like soy (vegetable) and corn, coconut oil won’t make you fat.

Coconut oil contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCT), which are an easy fuel for the body to burn, without turning to fat.

Most other cooking oils and fats contain long-chain triglycerides (LCT). LCT’s are usually stored as fat.

Since coconut oil is a MCT, it is more easily absorbed and converted to energy quicker.

People in the tropics have relied on coconuts as a traditional staple in their diet for centuries.

They consume large amounts of coconut oil every day.

Instead of getting fatter, it helps them stay healthy, lean and trim.

When they switch from coconut oil to our modern oils, they develop obesity and the health problems that our modern society faces.

Some other people who have known this truth for a long time are people who are in the animal feed business. When livestock are fed vegetable oils, they put on weight and produce more fatty meat.

When they are fed coconut oil, they become very lean.

2. Coconut oil increases your metabolism.

Not only does coconut oil convert to energy quicker in your body, it increases your metabolism, which promotes weight loss.

Because it boosts your metabolism, it helps your body burn fat more effectively.

Coconut oil may triple your calorie burn.

Since coconut oil is a MCT, it is converted to energy so quickly that it creates a lot of heat.

In a study published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, MCT’s burn three times more calories for six hours after a meal than LCT’s. The February 15, 2005 issue of Woman’s World magazine stated that coconut oil is the “underground high-metabolism secret.”

This is great news for people who have thyroid problems, since coconut oil improves sluggish thyroids by stimulating the production of extra thyroid hormones.

Most other common oils, like vegetable (soy) and corn have been shown to inhibit thyroid function.

3. Coconut oil has omega 3 fatty acids.

Most cooking oils contain omega 6 fatty acids, something we get way too much of.

Our omega 6 to omega 3 ratio should be 1:1 but it is more like 50:1.

We need to drastically cut back our omega 6 oils and consume much more omega 3 oils to be healthy.

And coconut oil is filled with these healthy omega 3 fatty acids.

4. Coconut oil gives you energy. Because of the healthy omega 3 fatty acids and the fact that it increases the metabolism, most people that switch to coconut oil feel a burst of added energy in their daily life.

This is because coconut oil is nature’s richest source of medium-chain triglycerides (MCT’s), which increase metabolic rates and lead to weight loss.

MCT’s promote thermogenesis, which increases the body’s metabolism, producing energy.

Many people with chronic fatigue syndrome and bromyalgia have found that adding coconut and coconut oil to their diet was helpful to them.

5. One of the best things you can use on your skin and hair is coconut oil.

Coconut oil is one of the best things you can apply directly on your skin and hair.

It gives temporary relief to skin problems like rashes.

It aids in healing and restoring skin to a younger appearance.

It has also been known to help with people who suffer from yeast infections in the skin, as well as many other skin problems. Not only does it soften and smooth your skin, coconut oil has antioxidant

properties that protect the skin from free radical damage.

Coconut oil makes excellent massage oil too.

6. Coconut oil has healthy benefits that most other oils do not. Evidence is mounting that coconut oil has anti-fungal, antibacterial and antiviral effects when both consumed and used topically on the skin.

Most oils oxidize and turn rancid very quickly causing free radical damage in our bodies.

Coconut oil is not easily oxidized and does not cause harmful free radical damage like polyunsaturated vegetable oils.

Free radical damage is thought to be responsible for many ailments in our body from arthritis to increased susceptibility to cancers.

Coconut oil also helps our bodies absorb other nutrients more effectively, such as Vitamin E.

7. Coconut oil is one of the best oils you can use for cooking.

It has a higher smoke point than olive oil, which means it can take higher temperatures better.

There are several healthy omega 3 oils we can choose to consume, such as flax and olive oil, but they don’t do well under the high heat we use for cooking.

Coconut oil can be used in higher cooking temperatures.

It is harder for coconut oil to go rancid, unlike other cooking oils, which are usually rancid long before you even bring them home.

Rancid oils cause free radical damage in the body, which is a leading cause of cancer.

Coconut oil is stable for over a year at room temperature.

Because of the misinformation we have been given for years, we have lost out on the healthy benefits that coconut oil has given the people of the tropics for centuries.

But now it has been rediscovered!
Coconut oil is so effective, it won’t be long before we see coconut oil supplements promoted, but you can get the jump on the popular crowd and start consuming and cooking with coconut oil today!

Have a wonderful day,

Jamie

The Unsung Heroes: Superfoods And Super Supplements Weekly Wisdom

Once you’ve started on the path to holistic health and well-being the next step is …

Once you’ve started on the path to holistic health and wellbeing and have begun to rid yourself of environmental toxins, the next step is to make sure your diet consists of organic, nutrient-rich, and information-dense foods.

Superfoods and supplements instruct your genes to repair the organs and systems in your body and restore brain health, and can all but eliminate your risk for Alzheimer’s, cancer, diabetes, and a host of other diseases of civilization.

Some foods are considered superfoods because of their high phytonutrient content and the quality of information they provide to your DNA.

These are central to the diet in areas around the globe where the inhabitants have unusually high longevity and good health. (As a rule, the more colorful a fruit or vegetable, the richer it is in phytonutrients and the greater its power as a superfood.)

For maximum benefit, we should eat vegetables and fruits that are in season, free of pesticides, and locally grown.

Supporting local farmers not only ensures that our produce will be fresh but also reduces the carbon footprint of transporting foods long distances.

If good, fresh fruits and vegetables aren’t available locally, the best alternative is frozen organic produce: frozen fruits and vegetables are picked at the height of freshness and immediately flash-frozen.

Among the healthiest of the superfoods are the cruciferous vegetables – high in fiber, antioxidants, and phytonutrients, they activate the Nrf2 detox system inside cells and turn on the longevity genes. Bok choy, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, celery, collard greens, kale, and mustard greens are all cruciferous veggies.

Other phytonutrient-rich vegetables, herbs and spices include: Arugula (known as rocket in Europe); spinach; Swiss chard; dark, loose-leafed varieties of lettuce; kelp; parsley; cilantro; and basil.

The spice, turmeric, is an extremely powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antifungal, and antimicrobial.

It is used to prevent cancer, reduce free radicals, and support the heart, liver, and gastrointestinal system.

Nuts and seeds are excellent sources of healthy, plant-based fats. Oils from coconuts, walnuts, almonds, and flaxseeds are concentrated sources of omega-3 fatty acids.

They confer a long list of health benefits, from lowering cholesterol to lifting depression.

Other healthy nuts include almonds, Brazil nuts, cashews, pecans, Macadamia nuts, and peanuts (technically legumes, and potentially fatal to those who are allergic).

Hemp seeds, sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, and pumpkin seeds are loaded with healthy fats, proteins, minerals and other nutrients.

Be sure to buy the unroasted organic variety, and store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh and prevent mold.

Meanwhile, avocados, blueberries, and goji berries are excellent sources of nutrients and antioxidants.

Changing your eating habits is an essential part of reaping the benefits of One Spirit Medicine.

But it can be challenging to follow all the dietary recommendations, especially at the times of the year when farm-fresh, locally grown produce isn’t available in your area.

Nutritional supplements can help you get on the fast track to detoxing, as well as repair your gut and maintain a brain-friendly diet.

The following supplements affect the gut-brain in different ways, but they all play a role in how your brain and the organs in your body repair and regenerate: DHA-EPA, ALA, Curcumin (the active ingredient in turmeric), Trans-resveratrol, pterostilbene, Vitamin B12, Vitamin C, Vitamin D3, and S-acetyl glutathione (A-GSH).

Coconut oil, while not a nutritional supplement, is jet fuel for the brain and can be taken by itself or in tea or soup.

Nutritional supplements are powerful medicines, and should be used with caution.

Be sure to check with your health-care professional before taking any supplements, and listen to your body.

In his book, Dr Alberto Villoldo One Spirit Medicine: Ancient Ways to Ultimate Wellness, or his new book “Grow A New Body” includes the complete guide to supplements, superfoods, and other foods that can be eaten in moderation after completing the detox period.

Eat Your Stress Goodbye – Stress Reducing Diet

When you’re stressed out, the foods that you’re turning to are most likely going to be traditional ‘comfort’ foods.

When you’re stressed out, the foods that you’re turning to are most likely going to be traditional ‘comfort’ foods.

When you’re stressed out, the foods that you’re turning to are most likely going to be traditional ‘comfort’ foods – think big meals, take-out, fatty foods, sweet foods, and alcohol.

Let’s face it – we’ve all found some comfort in a tasty meal and a bottle of beer or glass of wine when we’ve been stressed out or upset about something.

However, this isn’t a good permanent solution.

When you’re turning to unhealthy foods you can feel better temporarily, but in the long run, you will feel worse.

When your body isn’t getting the right nutrition, you can begin to feel less energetic, more lethargic, and in some cases less able to concentrate and focus.

All of this can lead to even more stress.

Foods that Fight Stress

If you’ve been feeling more stressed out than usual lately, it’s important to know which foods are best to choose and which to avoid when it comes to combating stress and helping you to deal with feelings of stress and anxiety.

The best way to fight stress is to have a healthy, balanced diet which includes a moderate amount of each of the different food groups.

Filling up on foods such as whole grains, leafy vegetables, and lean proteins as the basic staples of the diet is the best way to ensure that your body gets the optimum amounts of nutrients to fight both physical and mental health problems.

When it comes to choosing the foods to eat, some have a range of great properties which help the body to combat stress.

Choosing these stress-busting foods will help to heal and calm your mind permanently, rather than providing a temporary fix.

Some of the best stress-fighting foods include:

Blueberries – If you’re feeling stressed out and reaching for the snacks, swapping chocolate or chips for one of the best superfoods is a great way to help you deal with your stress levels and achieve a higher level of calm.

Blueberries have some of the highest levels of antioxidants, especially antho-cyanin, which means that this berry has been linked to a wide range of health benefits including sharper cognition, better focus, and a clearer mind – all of which can help you to better deal with stress.

Chamomile Tea – Of course, it’s not all about what you’re eating when it comes to managing stress; what you’re drinking can also alleviate or worsen the stress you’re feeling.

Drinking liquids which are high in sugars and caffeine, such as coffee, energy drinks or soda, can actually increase your stress levels if consumed regularly.

Chamomile tea has long been used as a natural bedtime soother, and it has also been used in clinical trials, which determined that chamomile tea is effective in reducing the symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder.

Avocado – Avocados are a creamy and versatile fruit which can be eaten in a range of different ways whether you enjoy it raw, made into sauces, dressings and dips, or in a smoothie.

These nutrient-dense fruits have the properties to stress-proof your body, thanks to their high glutathione content which specifically blocks the intestinal absorption of certain fats which cause oxidative damage.

Avocados also contain higher levels of vitamin E, folate, and beta-carotene than any other fruit, which boosts their stress-busting properties.

However, be careful with portion control when eating avocado, as it is high in fat.

Beef – Grass-fed beef is not only kinder to the planet and to animals, it’s also good for people, too.

Grass-fed beef has a huge range of antioxidants, including beta carotene and Vit-amins C and E, which can help your body to fight stress and anxiety.

If you’re looking for more reasons to spend a little more money on organic, grass-fed beef, it’s also lower in fat than grain-fed beef whilst being higher in omega-3.

Oatmeal – Oatmeal is great in that it can be a filling comfort food, but also has a large number of healthy properties to actually make you feel better from the inside out.

A complex carbohydrate, eating oatmeal causes your brain to produce higher levels of the feel-good chemical serotonin, helping you to feel calmer and less stressed.

Studies have shown that kids who choose oatmeal for breakfast tend to be much sharper throughout the morning in school compared to kids who had alternative morning meals.

Chocolate – Although it’s usually seen as an unhealthy treat, there is an undeniable link between chocolate and our mood.

Studies have shown that eating chocolate can actually make you happier.

However, that doesn’t mean that you can start munching on chocolate bars every time you’re stressed out – chocolate works best as a de-stressor when eaten in moderation and as part of a healthy and balanced diet.

Dark chocolate in particular is best for you, as it contains more avonols and polyphenols, two hugely important antioxidants which can help combat stress, more than many fruit juices.

Walnuts – If you’re looking for a healthy snacking option which will help you to stay better in control of your stress levels, walnuts are a great choice.

There is no denying the sweet, pleasant avor of walnuts and they can be a tasty snack for in-between meals or as part of a desert.

A versatile nut, walnuts are great for salads, or add them to a sweet treat such as coffee and walnut cake.

Pistachios – another food which is great for snacking on and can also help to combat stress and anxiety in the long term is pistachios.

Studies have found that simply eating two small, snack-size portions of pistachios per day can lower vascular constriction when you are stressed, putting less pressure on your heart by further dilating your arteries.

Along with this, the rhythmic, repetitive act of shelling pistachios can actually be quite therapeutic!

Green Leafy Vegetables – leafy, green vegetables should be a pivotal part of anyone’s diet.

Along with helping to combat stress, leafy greens are full of nutrients and antioxidants which help to fight off disease and leave your body feeling healthier and more energized.

Dark leafy greens, for example spinach, are especially good for you since they are rich in folate, which helps your body to produce more mood-regulating neurotransmitters such as serotonin, which is a ‘feel-good’ chemical.

Making leafy greens a part of your diet will help you to feel happier and less stressed out overall.

Fermented foods – last but not least, eating fermented foods such as yogurt can help to keep your gut healthy, which actually in turn will help to improve your mental health and reduce stress levels.

The beneficial bacteria which are found in fermented foods such as yogurt actually have a direct effect on your brain chemistry and transmit positive mood and behavior regulating signals to your brain via the vagus nerve.

Putting Together Your Diet Plan

Planning your meals wisely is key to not only staying physically fit and healthy, but also to staying mentally strong and being able to best manage your levels of stress.

Knowing which foods to avoid and which are the best to reach for to snack on when you’re feeling worried and anxious is important to helping you get control over your emotions and fears.

When you’re feeling stressed, you may be tempted to reach for classic ‘comfort foods’ – usually foods which are laden with sugar, very starchy, or greasy.

However, although these foods can make you feel momentarily better, they will actually make you feel worse in the long run.

Putting Together Your Diet Plan

Having stress-busting snacks such as fresh berries, dark chocolate, yogurt, walnuts or pistachios, or even a fruit smoothie with avocado and leafy greens in it can help you to feel better in both the short and long term when it comes to stress.

When it comes to combating and dealing with stress in the long run, it’s important to make sure that for the most part, you are eating a diet which is healthy and balanced.

In order to stay on track, it’s a good idea to make a meal plan for your week and plan ahead to make sure that you have a good selection of these stress-busting foods in your kitchen to make meals and snacks from when you’re feeling like stress-eating.

Making sure that the majority of your meals include foods such as lean proteins and leafy green vegetables will not only make you feel healthier overall, but can improve your mental health and stress levels, too.

A good example of a healthy, stress-busting menu would be:

Breakfast: Oatmeal with berries or a fruit smoothie with avocado and berries
Mid-morning snack: Natural yogurt with fruit or a handful of pistachio nuts
Lunch: A whole-grain pasta salad filled with plenty of leafy greens
Afternoon snack: Dark chocolate
Dinner: Grass-fed beef with vegetables
Before bed: Chamomile tea

Of course, you don’t need to stick to this menu – but it gives you a good idea!

Remember to exercise good portion control when eating foods such as nuts, chocolate, yogurt or avocado!

As the saying goes, you are what you eat – so make sure that first and foremost, you’re filling yourself up with foods which are good for your mental health.

An alternative way to enjoy the beauty of a crystal while still benefiting from their positive and healing energies, is by purchasing a crystal accessory.

A common type of accessory made from crystals is jewelry, but there are also more unique ways crystals are being used these days.

You do not need to be affiliated with any traditional religion to use prayer beads.

When you have moments of anxiety or doubt, take a deep breath and simply rotate each crystal stone through your fingers.

As you hold each bead, repeat out loud or in your mind a positive mantra such as “everything is alright”, “just
breathe”, or ”release.”

Sex Toys

Crystal sex toys can help you get in touch with your sexual energy, overcome negative feelings, and, best of all, orgasm.

There are many different types of sex toys now made with crystals.

The thought behind this is that the crystal will eminent their beautiful vibrations and energy into your water.

If you want, you can even fill the bottle with water and set it out to charge on the night of the full moon either on a windowsill or in your backyard.

This is a wonderful way to periodically recharge your crystal.

How To Make A Gemstone Elixir

To make a crystal elixir, place the gemstone of choice in a glass jar of water and
leave it outside for at least twenty four hours to soak up the sun and moon’s
healing life force.
If you do not have twenty four hours to soak the crystal it is
preferable to leave the elixir out in the sun for as long as you can.
Unless the moon is full, the sun tends to charge water faster.

The idea is that when we drink the elixir it will cause physical shifts in the body
as it heals our own molecular structure.

It aligns it more closely with the
energy of the crystal.
When making a gemstone elixir always be sure to use puried or distilled
water.

It is also important to only use a glass jar as a plastic one can cause
chemicals from the plastic to leach out into your elixir.

Some other tips are to research the crystal you plan on using your elixir
beforehand and make sure it is an insoluble stone.

Quartz are commonly used in elixirs and many people describe feeling an almost immediate charge after drinking a quartz elixir.

This can be a really healing and restorative ritual to add to your life.

Feel free to experiment and I wish you luck on your own healing crystal journey.

Types Of Crystal Gemstones

So you are ready to add some crystals to your home and rituals.

There are four types of crystals to choose from: raw or rough crystals, clusters and geodes, slices, and points or wands.

Raw or rough crystals are the crystals that come straight from the earth.

They are rough and rocky and crystals such as rose quartz or amethyst are often found in this form.

When left in their natural state, some people believe you can connect with them more deeply.

They give off a gentle and diffused energy that can have a positive effect on a space or even an emotional state.

Clusters and geodes are visually stunning stones.

They usually feature a hollow formation that is filled with crystals.

These types of crystals have powerful frequencies and can send out a wonderful calming and purifying energy in a
space.

This is a popular choice for both its power and beauty.

Slices are when a gemstone is cut into a thin piece that is then polished.

With this type of crystal you can really enjoy the inner beauty of the crystal.

These types of crystals are perfect for decoration and adding a peaceful energy to the space.

Wands or points are often used as a healing tool.

They are excellent energy transmitters.

Quartz is one of the crystals often found as a wand or point and is known for its purifying and cleansing qualities.

There is no right of wrong choice when choosing which type of crystal to add to your collection.

More than anything, the most important thing is your connection to the stone.

If possible hold the crystal in your hand and close your eyes to tap into intuitive feelings about the stone.

If you are choosing the crystal online you can always close your eyes and envision the stone in your mind’s eye and note what feelings and sensations come to you.

As long as you always trust your intuition, the right crystal will find you.
